A look back in pictures!

From March 15th to 17th, the city of Poitiers hosted the C’Nano 2023 Congress, a major event dedicated to nanoscience and nanotechnology. The congress brought together more than 400 participants from academia and industry, including researchers, engineers, PhD students, and post-doctorates and more than 100 participants from wide audience the first day !

Thank you for that, we were delighted to have you !

The C’Nano 2023 Congress was a resounding success, providing an important platform for the exchange of ideas and the promotion of scientific collaboration. Below are some pictures that capture the spirit of the event. We look forward to the next congress and the continued advancement of nanoscience and nanotechnology!

The program was packed with plenary lectures and parallel sessions covering a range of topics at the interface of various research areas. Despite the strike that made it difficult to travel to the C’Nano conference, the majority of guests and participants still came, attesting to the joy of reconnecting to discuss the various fields of nanoscience and the pleasure of creating new collaborations.

A well-packed schedule

The program included 5 plenary lectures and 10 parallel sessions on topics at the interface of various research areas in nanoscience. Altogether, 31 internationally recognized speakers from France and abroad were invited.

A poster session was also held for contributions, and an exhibition area was organized for sponsors and partners.

One of the highlights of the congress was the special sessions. The first was a large public evening held on Wednesday, March 15th. The second was an exhibition area dedicated to « Art & Science, » which included an image ceremony. The third session addressed issues in innovation and was dedicated to researchers, PhD students, post-doctorates, and engineers interested in transferring their knowledge and technologies towards industry. It also involved stakeholders of the French innovation ecosystem in Poitiers.

PhD Thesis Awards Ceremony

In addition to the scientific program, a ceremony was organized to reward the best PhD Thesis 2022 in nanoscience and nanotechnology, with C’Nano, SCF and RENATECH Awards presented.
